You will use your directory ID to register for orientation and to access various university resources.

Register for an Orientation Program
All transfer students are required to attend a one-day orientation program. They are offered throughout the summer, but certain colleges only advise on certain dates.
Once you know which date you want to attend, register online or call our office at (301) 314-8217.
Please have your University ID number (UID) ready. This number can be found on your acceptance letter.
The fee for attending a one-day orientation program is $116. This fee covers all costs associated with the program including breakfast, lunch, staffing, materials and logistics. It will be charged to your student account through the office of the bursar after you attend orientation. Please do not send payment to the Orientation Office.

TERRAPIN EXPEDITIONS FOR NEW AND TRANSFER STUDENTS (T.E.N.T.S.)
Adventure orientation programs are a great way to meet other incoming Terps and build relationships before the semester even begins. Trained trip leaders will teach you outdoor skills and facilitate activities and dialogue focused on your transition to college.
