The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) is home to students and scholars passionate about understanding and improving the human condition. Limited Enrollment Programs (LEP): Psychology, Criminology and Criminal Justice. Students not directly admitted can still pursue these programs by meeting gateway requirements. Advisors can help students plan strategically and explore alternative pathways if needed.

Advising is a core part of student success in BSOS.
- All students are assigned advising teams based on their major department.
- BSOS students can also visit the Feller Center for academic and career advising and guidance.
- First-semester students are required to create an academic plan to chart their course to graduation.
- First-year students are encouraged to meet with an advisor early and regularly throughout the year.
- Appointments and drop-in advising options are available.

Every BSOS department has academic advisors, and the Feller Center provides both academic advising and career services. Students can schedule appointments or drop in during designated hours.
The Feller Center’s Career Planning team includes three staff members who offer individual career coaching appointments on all topics related to career planning.
BSOS undergraduates have exclusive access to the “What Can I Do with My Major in…?” online resource, a dedicated website with how-to information, access to alumni/employer networking events and career fairs, as well as access to our expansive alumni network.
Students can connect with faculty, attend department info sessions, or explore BSOS research opportunities and internships through the Feller Center.
Academic advisors are the first point of contact for course planning and policies. The Feller Center is a hub for both academic and career planning.
